Winter Heat Round Six Results from Charlotte Motor Speedway on February 4th
[02-04-12] The sixth round of the Winter Heat Series took place on Saturday, February 4th, at Charlotte Motor Speedway (NC). Due to the weather, Bandoleros were postponed. The Legends divisional winners were Dave Garbo Jr (Legends Young Lions), Tyler Hill (Legends Semi-Pro), Sam McAulay (Legends Pro) and Carl Cormier (Legends Masters). LN has learned the Bandoleros will be made up next weekend with Bandits on Saturday, Outlaws on Sunday. For the complete results, click here.

[02-01-12] From Bethel Motor Speedway (NY) PR: For Legends and Bandolero racers, the excitement begins to build early for LegendStock, an INEX Legends Asphalt Nationals qualifier held on the quarter-mile oval at Bethel Motor Speedway. This year, that excitement is expected to spill over into the grandstands as the speedway office has invited interested parties to enter themselves into the running to serve as “Ms. LegendStock 2012”. Dave Garbo Jr Legal After Red Box Check
[02-01-12] In the tech area after the fifth round of the Winter Heat Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway (NC) on Saturday, January 28th, many Legends teams had their red box (ignition) taken to be checked by INEX for legality. On Wednesday morning, a team member from Dave Garbo Jr's team told LegendsNation.com his box came back legal after being checked, making him the official winner of the Young Lions feature. No other team has reached out to LN to express whether they were legal or not as of 9am on Wednesday. We will post more info when we know, either on the website or our Facebook page.
